美術家、佐野要三は絵画と写真による手法で表現してきました。
佐野の表現の源にあるものは、幼少の頃の自然の中での体験によって得られた、佐野の感覚そのものにあります。自然の中に存在する光と影、気、静、水、空、色彩、自然現象に関わるこれらの要素が、佐野の感覚を刺激し、自然の中からイメージを抽出し増幅させて現在に至り、作品表現の源になっています。
佐野は絵画や写真という枠を越えて、独自の制作手法を模索し続けながら、作品を制作しています。 その制作手法とは、撮影した写真と紙という素材を使い、紙を水に溶かして支持体に盛り付け、乾燥させて固めたものを、一度火で表面を焼く。プリントアウトした佐野のデジタル写真を貼り付ける。溶かした紙を更に写真の周囲まで写真を際立たせるように盛り付け、対象が画面から出現するかの様な作品を制作する手法です。
佐野は独自の制作手法によって、対象の存在感や空間を拡大し、抽象化させることで、佐野独自の世界観や人間の内面性、魂の存在に対する解放を表現しています。
今回出品される佐野の作品のテーマは ’’自然物’’です。デジタル手法による写真と紙を変化させた素材を組み合わせた独自の手法によるミクストメディア作品です。佐野のシリーズ作品、’’Inspiration’’ の12作品による展示となっています。


Artist Yozo Sano has expressed himself through painting and photography.
The source of his expression comes from his senses, which he acquired through his childhood experiences in nature. Light and shadow, air, stillness, water, sky, color, and natural phenomena in nature stimulate his senses, and the images he extracts and amplifies from nature have become the source of his artistic expression to this day.
His work transcends the boundaries of painting and photography, as he continues to search for his own unique method of production. His production method is to use the materials of photographed photographs and paper, dissolve the paper in water, heap it on a support, let it dry and harden, and then burn the surface once over a fire. His digital photographs, which have been printed out, are then pasted onto the surface. The melted paper is then heaped around the photo in such a way as to make it stand out, creating a work of art in which the subject seems to emerge from the screen.
His unique production method expands and abstracts the presence and space of the subject, expressing his unique worldview and liberation to the inner nature of human beings and the existence of the soul.
The theme of his work in this exhibition is ”natural objects. The works are mixed media works using a unique technique that combines digital photography and altered paper materials. The exhibition includes 12 works from his series, ”Inspiration”.
