現代は人びとの価値観の多様化により多様な思想、哲学、価値観が併存する混迷の時代といえます。このような全てが相対的で混沌とした時代においては、異なる考えや価値観を理解し、受け入れ、共生することの重要性が問われています。そして、それ実現するための手段として”対話-Dialogue-”は必要不可欠なものです。
芸術鑑賞も決して鑑賞者から作品へと一方的に向かうものではありません。鑑賞者は作品の鑑賞を通じて思いもよらない考えを得たり、様々な感情を引き起こされたりします。この点において、芸術鑑賞とは鑑賞者と作品が相互に関わり合うものであり、鑑賞そのものも”対話-Dialogue-”といえるのでしょう。
”良い作品”といわれる作品の定義は様々な要素があり難しいですが、鑑賞者により深く影響を与えることのできる作品、つまりより深く長く”対話-Dialogue-”することのできる作品ともいえるかもしれません。
アーティストは、自然との対話、社会との対話、内面との対話など多様な対話を通じ、心の中の様々な感情や考えをひとつの表現として美に昇華します。 本展では、ART POINT選抜による作家たちの多様な対話から生まれた表現作品を紹介することで”対話-Dialogue-”がもたらす深い意味や可能性について考察します。



In modern times, the diversification of values ​​has led to an era of confusion where various ideologies, philosophies, and values coexist. In such a relativistic and chaotic age, the importance of understanding, accepting, and coexisting with different ideas and values is questioned. And as a means to achieve this, “dialogue” is indispensable.
Art appreciation is not a one-sided journey from the viewer to the artwork. Viewers may gain unexpected thoughts or evoke various emotions through appreciating artworks. In this regard, art appreciation involves mutual interaction between the viewer and the artwork, and appreciation itself can be considered a “dialogue”.
The definition of a “good artwork” is difficult as it involves various elements, but it may also be said to be an artwork that can deeply influence viewers, one that can engage in a deeper and longer “dialogue”.
Artists elevate various emotions and thoughts within their minds to beauty through diverse dialogues such as dialogue with nature, dialogue with society, and dialogue with the inner self.
In this exhibition, we will introduce expressive works born from the diverse dialogues of selected　artists, and reflect on the deep meaning and possibilities brought about by “dialogue”.
