相田は絵画を中心に主に油絵を主流にして、現色に近い色で自身の世界を表現することに拘って制作をしています。 油絵の具の特性を生かして、絵の具本来の発色を重視し、なるべく速乾剤を使用せずに、絵画の古典的な絵の具を塗り重ねる手法で作品を制作しています。
作品のテーマは「輪廻転生」や「魂の浮遊」または「自然」をテーマに制作をしており、欧米でのアート留学では、美術全般を学び主にコンテンポラリーアートの技術と知識を学びました。
相田は海外ではコンテンポラリーアートが主流であることを学び、「現代アートにはルールがないのかもしれない。」という思いからアーティストとは常にパイオニアであり続けること、アートを制作することとは何かということを考えて日々制作をしています。
相田の目標は、誰かの心に残る作品を制作をしたいという気持ちであり、アート作品の寿命は作家個人の寿命よリも長いということです。
相田の「いつか私がこの世から居なくなった時、どこかで誰かが私の作品を観て私のことを思い出して欲しい」という願いからこの個展を開催する運びとなりました。

Aida works mainly with oil paintings, and is concerned with expressing her own world in colors that are close to the actual colors.She uses the characteristics of oil paints, emphasizing the original coloring of the paints, and applies paints in a classic painterly manner, without using quick-drying agents as much as possible.
The themes of her works are “reincarnation,” “floating souls,” and “nature.” During her art study abroad in Europe and the United States, She studied art in general and mainly learned the techniques and knowledge of contemporary art.
Aida learned that contemporary art is the mainstream overseas, and she believes that “there may be no rules in contemporary art.” Aida’s daily work is based on the idea that an artist should always be a pioneer and what it means to create art.
Aida’s goal is to create works of art that will remain in the hearts of others, and she believes that the life span of a work of art is longer than the life span of an individual artist.
Aida’s hope is that “someday, when I am gone from this world, someone somewhere will see my work and remember me.”
