本展では、白と黒という最小限の色の世界で美を追求する実力派アーティスト2名を弊画廊が選出、色の無い美の世界というテーマで様々な技法とスタイルの中に映し出されるモノクロ世界を紹介します。
余分な色彩を省くことで、描かれた対象がよりシンプルにメッセージを訴えかけるだけでなく、２つの色相に抑えられた画面からアーティストそれぞれの特徴や個性をより鮮明に浮かび上がらせます。限られた色調だからこそ表現できる、精緻な線描や陰影に富む描写は、何事にもスピードが求められる日常生活を送る私たちに、しばし時間の経過を忘れさせ静寂の世界へと引き込むと同時に、内なる感情を喚起します。色の無い美の世界というテーマで様々な技法とスタイルの中に映し出されるモノクロ世界をコンテンポラリーアートシーンの問題として捉え、モノクロアートの可能性と方向性を提示します。



 Gallery Art Point has selected 2 artists which uses only black and white for their pursuit of beauty. The theme of ”Colorless World” is explored by use of various technique and styles,exploring the possibilities of Monochromatic Art.
By limiting coloristic explored exploration ,not only do the depicted subjects convey a simpler message,the individuality of the 2 artists are brought more vividly to the surface.
In contrast to modern life which demands constant the monochrome of fine precise lines and depiction of lights and shadows may temporarily pause the passing of time and draw us into a quieter world that allows us momentary internal reflection.
