KOHは、印象派 / Impressionism絵画を現代の視点で再解釈し独自の視点と手法で対象を描きます。印象派絵画が、光の動き、変化の質感をいかに絵画で表現するかということに重きを置いていることは、説明するまでありませんが、KOHはナイフで絵の具を小さな粒子として飛ばしながら画面をつくっていく「スパッタリング」という技法で「光」を描きます。
KOHは活動の場を世界に拡げ、その作品発表は、パリ、ニューヨーク、ベネチア、ベルリンに及び、クラウドファンディング日本人画家歴代最高支援額、ルーヴル美術館にて行われるアートフェアにて作品の展示販売達成など、これまで海外を中心に様々な活動をしてきました。 そして今回は、日本国内での活動として東京、大阪の2箇所での個展を終えGALLERY ART POINTにて3日間限定の特別イベントとして油彩画約20点の展示となります。
