近年、若者を中心に使われる「エモい」という言葉。 それは「懐かしさ」や「感情が揺さぶられた瞬間」などに、言葉にできない感情を表現する言葉です。本展では、そんな「エモい」をテーマに、風景画を中心とした作品を展示します。
夕暮れの街並み、誰もいない田舎道、ふと立ち止まって見上げた空ー
それぞれの風景が、見る人の記憶や感情に寄り添い、「あの頃」の自分を思い出させてくれるかもしれません。
作品の中にある静けさや温かさ、寂しさや希望。
一人一人の心の奥底に閉まってある「風景」と重なり、想いが響きあう時間を体験していただければ幸いです。

In recent years, the word “emoi” has become popular especially among young people in Japan. It expresses a feeling that is difficult to put into words—moments of nostalgia, or the sudden stirring of emotion. This exhibition explores the theme of emoi through a selection of landscape paintings.
A city at dusk, an empty country road, a sky you happened to look up at while pausing for just a moment— each scene resonates with the viewer’s memories and emotions, perhaps reminding them of who they were “back then.”
Within each work lies a quietness and warmth, a touch of loneliness and a hint of hope. We hope visitors will experience a moment where these landscapes overlap with the “sceneries” stored deep within their own hearts, allowing their feelings to quietly echo with the art.
