本展覧会のタイトルである“Avenir” とはフランス語で”未来”、”将来”、”展望”といった意味を持ちます。
現代アートというものは、様々な表現方法を駆使して、現代社会が持つ問題や現代社会に生きる人間の内面を多角的に読み解き、違った視点から表現し訴えるものであり、何より私たちにとって重要な身近な”未来”を予見し”展望”を伝えるものでもあります。ひとりひとりのアーティストが柔軟な視点をもって、アートを通して伝達することの重要性や関係性を改めて見つめ、変わらなければいけないという”展望”を作品を通じメッセージとして外部に送りだすのもアートの大きな役割であるのかもしれません。そうした過程を経て生みだされた作品が一堂に会することで、アーティストによる一方的なアプローチが空間全体に広がり、アーティストから鑑賞者へと意識を反映・共有することで結びつき、アートが社会的文脈でつながり大きな”展望”として展観されることを期待します。 本展覧会では、弊画廊選抜による中堅ベテラン作家12-14名（予定）の多種多様な表現の作品により、現代の時代性と美術表現を展観し、次世代の”展望”と可能性を探りたいと思います。 また、本展覧会を通じ、作家同士の交流、または、作家と一般来場者が交流することにより制作活動の一助となることを願っています。

“Avenir”, the title of this exhibition, means “future,” “future,” and “outlook” in French. Modern art uses various methods of expression to interpret the problems of modern society and the inner aspects of human beings living in modern society from various perspectives, and expresses and appeals from different perspectives. It also foresees the near “future” and conveys “outlook”. The role of art may be that sending out the “outlook” that each artist to re-examine the importance and relationship of communicating through art from a flexible viewpoint, as a message to the outside through work. By bringing together the works created through such a process, the one-sided approach of the artist spreads throughout the space, connecting and reflecting the consciousness from the artist to the viewer, and it is hoped that art will be connected in a social context and exhibited as a big “outlook”. In this exhibition, due to a variety of expression works by 12-14 mid-career veteran artists (planned) to show the contemporary era and artistic expression, we would like to exhibit contemporary era and art expression, and explore the “outlook” and potential of the next generation. We also hope that this exhibition will help the artists to interact with each other and interact with the general public to help their production activities.
