本展覧会名の“Preface-プリフェイス”とは物語の序章という意味です。弊画廊の一年間の展示全てをひとつの物語として例え、年明け最初の展示をその物語の始まりとし、その始まりを予見させる序章（Preface）として本展を企画しました。
本展ではこの序章（Preface）を飾るのに相応しい弊画廊選抜による実力派アーティスト4人による選抜展となります。
年明け最初の展示として既存の価値観や枠組みに囚われないアーティストを紹介することにより次なる物語の序章（Preface）を予見させるような新しいアートの価値観と方向性を提示したいと思います。

The name of this exhibition “Preface” means the beginning of the story. This exhibition is planned as a preface to predict the beginning of the story, with the first exhibition at the beginning of the year, comparing all the exhibitions of our gallery for one year as one story.
For this exhibition 4 talented artists were selected to decorate the preface and they show new art values and directions that foresee the preface of the next story.
This exhibition “Preface I” is to be held jointly with “Preface II”, held in another space of gallery.
