本庄未紀は、植物をモチーフに抽象、具象という概念にはこだわらず、季節や場が持つ空気感と、そこにある植物がつくり出す情景を独特な技法とスタイルで表現します。制作過程では下地と背景づくりに多くの時間を費やし、カラフルな色使いは、さまざまな色の重なりからつくられたものです。

Honjo Miki expresses plants as a motif without sticking to the concept of abstraction or figurative. She expresses the atmosphere of the seasons and places, and the scenes created by the plants there, using unique techniques and styles.
