作品には人物や動物、花、食べ物などが登場し、優しい色調で描かれている。いずれのモチーフも細部まで丁寧に描写されており、特に食べ物の表現には質感や香りを想起させるような描写力が見られる。
写実的な要素と幻想的な構成が融合した作品世界は、夢と現実の中間のような空間を構成しており、鑑賞者が作品の中の時間や雰囲気を追体験するような構造となっている。
The origin of Yuka Omura’s artistic practice lies in a childhood memory—specifically, the excitement she felt just before a party began. Her works feature figures, animals, flowers, and food, all rendered in gentle, soft hues. Each motif is meticulously detailed, with food in particular depicted so vividly that viewers can almost sense its texture and aroma.
Blending realistic elements with fantastical compositions, Omura creates a world that seems to exist in the space between dream and reality. Her works invite viewers to become participants in this imagined celebration, allowing them to experience the warm, pleasant flow of time that unfolds within each scene.
